Care & Washing Recommendations

Your EKTOS wool blanket was pre-washed at the factory and does not need to be washed before use.

To eliminate any lingering odors let your blanket air outside for a day or two.

To maximize the life of your wool blanket - only wash when it's clearly needed. Minor soiling can be gently brushed off - or sponged off with a damp cloth.

If hand washing, consider using a partially filled bathtub or laying flat on a plastic picnic table.

Once the blanket is dry, use the no heat 'air fluff' dryer cycle to 'vacuum off' any loose fibers.

Some minimal shedding and shrinkage is normal during the first few washes.

Your wool blanket may also be dry cleaned if desired.
